Fondation Maeght is a renowned French art institution founded in 1964 by Aimé and Marguerite Maeght in Saint-Paul-de-Vence. Created as a place where art, architecture and nature come together, it houses one of Europe's most important collections of modern art. Simon Hantaï was one of the leading figures of abstract painting in postwar France.
